    The basic properties of semiconductors and junctions are covered both in our VQS Microelectronics Course and VQS Optoelectronics course.  This course is designed for people who want to dig deeper into the properties of semiconductors and junctions.  This course forms the basis for our course Semiconductor Devices II: MOS and for studying optoelectronics.  The emphasis is on understanding ideas and developing an intuitive understanding of device physics not on derivations and equations.
